Optic and laser accessories
Laser optics allow the laser beam to be focused on a point (or laser spot) optimally. They are essential for shaping the laser beam. The simplest configuration incorporates a collimation element followed by a focusing element. Some configurations used for laser welding are equipped with a viewing camera which allows the laser spot to be fixed on the parts to be welded.
A pyrometer or a Cmos camera can also be integrated to carry out real-time control of the laser process in progress. Certain specific components can produce beams of various shapes such as rectangles, squares or lines. These so-called "homogenizing" elements are placed between the collimating element and the focusing element. They have the particularity of providing a spatial distribution of energy density in a so-called "top hat" linear fashion. Laserline, Prometec, Precitec or Lasermech, among others, are the partners of Industrial Laser Systems.
