Evolution of laser sources
The constant development of fiber-coupled diode technologies has made it possible to achieve major breakthroughs for more than 20 years. The first solid-state lasers or conventional gas lasers in materials processing were huge, low-efficiency stationary devices used to cut and weld metals. In the middle of the last century, when the tube was replaced by the transistor, today there is a similar change with industrial laser systems such as high performance semiconductor lasers of the fiber laser type or the laser type diodes.
With these new technologies, laser sources reach powers of several kilowatts with very high beam qualities meeting the specific requirements of each application and each area.
At Industrial Laser Systems, we work with world leaders such as the company Laserline which is in just a few years has become the international benchmark for high power diode laser sources.
